Indonesia, The Kanjuruhan disaster in Malang City, East Java, claimed the lives of 131 people. The Kanjuruhan tragedy became one of the deadliest in football history.

Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo, Head of the Police Public Relations Division, confirmed the death toll in the Kanjuruhan tragedy. Dedi, there was initially a data disparity between the Police Public Relations team and the Health Office.

Only victims who were taken to the hospital are recorded in police data. After comparing the data, it was discovered that 12 victims died outside of medical facilities.

Three hospitals were involved in the deaths. 44 people died in three government hospitals, including 21 at Kanjuruhan Hospital, two at Bhayangkara Hasta Brata Batu Hospital, and 20 at Dr Saiful Anwar Hospital Malang.

Then 75 deaths were recorded in seven private hospitals, including Gondanglegi Hospital, which had four people die, Wafa Husada Hospital, which had 53 people die, Teja Husada Hospital, which had 13 people die, Hasta Husada Hospital, which had three people die, Ben Mari Hospital, which had one person die, RST Soepraoen, which had one person die, and Salsabila Hospital, which had one person die. Then 12 people died outside the hospital.
