Victory for Kanjuruhan Tragedy Victims is presented by the U-17 National Team.

Indonesia – The U-17 Indonesian National Team defeated Guam 14-0 in honor of the victims of the Kanjuruhan Tragedy. Only a victory celebration.

The Bima Sakti team was depressed as they competed in the 2023 Asian Cup Qualifiers. The match, which took place on Monday (3/10/2022) at Pakansari Stadium in Bogor Regency, was also not well attended.

Nonetheless, the U-17 national team made a strong showing by crushing Guam. Because of the unfortunate circumstances, the U-17 National Team did not overjoy in welcoming this landslide victory.

We all agree that this victory is dedicated to our brothers and sisters who were affected by the Kanjuruhan disaster. All Indonesian football is hoping for a comeback. "This momentum has the potential to unite all fans," said the Bima Sakti U-17 National Team coach in a post-match statement.

 

"Thank you, God, I won the match." I told the players at the start that this game was crucial, even against Guam. "Everyone must perform at their peak," he said.

Arkhan Kaka, the match's star, also admitted that he agreed to respect the victims of the Kanjuruhan Tragedy. The U-17 national team shares the sadness and sympathies with the victims' families.

 

"We have reached an agreement with all of them, as well as the Bima Sakti coach, regarding the celebration. Because we are in mourning. We celebrate modestly to honor the victims and to thank God for our victory "Arkhan Kaka stated.

 

The Kanjuruhan Tragedy claimed the lives of 125 people, according to reports. They became victims following the 11th week of the 2022 Liga 1 match between Arema FC and Persebaya Surabaya at the Kanjuruhan Stadium.
